Railway Modelling is an art, a science and a way of
relaxation all in one. Each member of the hobby, new and old alike, enjoys the hobby in their own way and adds their own skills and thoughts. It is through these we are able to produce fresh and exciting ideas.
The Southern Cross Model Railway Association (SCMRA) acts as a forum for the ideas and a meeting ground where you can learn and develop skills and eventually pass on your knowledge and experience to others.
SCMRA produces the Australian Model Railway Magazine which is supplied to all financial members. The joining kit contains a range of model railway standards, recommended practices and information sheets. Meetings and clinics are also organised. There is also a range of special services for members.
The annual membership fee covers the period 1 March to 28 February the following year.
